The site is located above a loquat orchard the project's challenge is to create an observation deck that interferes with the surrounding natural environment as little as possible. The impression of the building comes from the ancient Chinese oracle bone inscriptions (the character “⼭” means mountain). The platforms are oriented in three directions. The architect designed a staircase extending to the mountain in the centre of the observation platform which can be used by local farmers. The observation platform not only It provides a place for foreign tourists to rest and look at the mountains to see the starry sky as well as a place for local farmers to rest and cool down.
